Located at a height of 581 m., it rises to the west of a vast basin of dolomites, surrounded by birch and secular chestnut woods.

There are two oratories of historical interest: S.Bernardo, built in the XVII century. thanks to the local "fractioners", and S. Rocco, which rises on the borders of the parish of Plesio with that of Barna, built on the occasion of the plague of 1648/49 which ravaged the entire valley.
