Vandring
Built at the northwestern tip of the Medina in 1765
to defend the city from attacks coming from the sea, it
consists of a two-level platform with a series of rooms that were intended for the storage of
ammunition and weapons. This building has a fine collection of Spanish cannons dating from the 16th century.

Beautiful view of the old houses and the sea.
The walls are decorated with old Portuguese brass/bronze cannons from the 17th and 18th centuries.
It is also a great place to watch the tides.
