Vandring
A unique experience that will leave no one untouched! The exhibition vividly and interestingly recalls how over 5,000 residents of Vestmannaeyja fled their homes on the fateful night of January 23, 1973. Many lost their homes and belongings, and many never returned. If you are on the Westman Islands, a visit to this "museum" is a must.

Eldheimar is a souvenir exhibition. The exhibition conveys information about the volcanic eruption in Vestmannaeyjar in 1973, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest natural disasters in Iceland's history.
