Drottningarhola, also known as the Queen's borehole, is an interesting place in the Reykjadalur Valley. This valley is known for its geothermal activity and contains a warm water river in which visitors can bathe. The name Reykjadalur literally means “Steam Valley”, which refers to the steam rising from the ground due to the geothermal activity in the area.
