A beautiful small and well maintained park in the heart of Santa Clara Cuba. There is a hotel right next to the park, whose lift you can use as a non-hotel guest to go up to the roof and enjoy a drink and have a great view of the city. In the park, as in some other places, public WiFi (subject to a fee and limited) can be used. Clean and pleasant. Also completely harmless in the evening.

The Leoncio Vidal Park is located in the historic center of the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara.
It owes its name to the Cuban patriot Leoncio Vidal Caro, who died in a military action in 1896 in the hitherto called “Plaza de Recreo”. In the thirties and until the triumph of the Revolution, it was the scene of protests and demonstrations by students, workers and the population in general. It can be said that, for centuries, Parque Vidal has been present in the sad as well as happy memories of numerous generations.
