Cykling
The school building was built in 1575 and later expanded. It is the second oldest school building in Thuringia. A half-timbered floor rises above the sandstone ground floor with two arched portals and several inscription plaques. The "Schoolman", a late medieval stone sculpture on the east corner of the "Old School", is interpreted in folk tales as a treasure finder and donor of the historic building.
