You'll gain 691 feet (211 metres) in elevation, a journey that typically takes about 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete. As you hike, you'll pass beautiful vineyards and open fields, offering expansive views of the landscape. Don't miss the panoramic Big Bench Albugnano, a unique spot perfect for a photo opportunity.
Before you set out, be aware that this stage of the Don Bosco Trail is not suitable for strollers due to its varied terrain. While generally accessible for hikers aged six and up, a good level of physical fitness is recommended for this moderate route. If there has been recent heavy rain, prepare for potentially muddy conditions underfoot. Also, keep an eye out for brambles, especially if you are hiking early in the season.
This stage is a highlight of the Turin hills, known for its continuous undulations that provide a dynamic hiking experience. Beyond the natural beauty, you'll encounter charming churches along the way, such as the Church of Santa Maria della Neve, adding a touch of local culture to your journey.
