Her long hair is pinned up, ready for a bath, and she has thrown a towel over her shoulder. The sculptor Hans Schröder, who portrays a type of woman embodied, for example, by French film actress Brigitte Bardot, leaves it open whether the nude woman is returning from a bath or going to bathe.
The bronze sculpture "Woman with Towel" was acquired by the city of Saarlouis in 1980.
