Vandring
Alghero has 43,743 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in an area of 225 km² and is located on the north west coast of Sardinia.
The old town has many medieval monuments typical of medieval towns in the territory of the Crown of Aragon. Thick walls enclose the old town, which lies on a rocky outcrop. Narrow streets and stone steps lead to the squares and churches.
