Vandring

At the beginning of the 20th century, Maurice Calmeyn started planting the Calmeyn forest of the same name in the dunes of De Panne. Centrally located in the Calmeynbos you will now find the Duinpanne Provincial Visitor Center, which provides a glimpse of the unique dune, coastal and sea life. Be sure to visit the North Sea Aquarium where you can learn more about the different animal species that live in the surf of the North Sea and see the permanent exhibition 'Sea Change', which takes you to the underwater world based on six current themes.

Vandring

Duinpanne Visitor Center is centrally located in the Calmeynbos.
There are toilets and a drinking water fountain on the site of the visitor center.
Inside the visitor center you can get many free brochures about the spacious area or get started yourself with our interactive map.
