Heads up: The campground, and all the rest of Brooks Camp, is only accessible by float plane and, on rare occasions, boats from neighboring small communities. You can learn more about reaching this beautiful place from the National Park Service: nps.gov/katm/planyourvisit/directions.htm

The Brooks Camp campground sometimes floods. When that happens, everybody must crowd their tents into the few remaining dry sites.

The Brooks Camp campground is protected by an electric fence that deters bears from coming in. However, you must still take specific precautions, such as storing all food and scented items in a designated cache.
