At this location you are standing at the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904). The beautiful courtyard is always open to the public.

In the heart of old Colmar, the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi houses on three levels the museum comparable to this emblematic artist of the 19th century.
Sculptures, paintings, drawings in photographs.

On the ground floor, the Petit Vigneron is part of all the models of the nine public monuments designed for Colmar by the sculptures 1856 and 1902.

The city of Colman has created the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904) as a museum about the life and work of the sculptor. In addition to pieces from his work, the furniture of the Bartholdi family and personal items are exhibited on 3 floors. Certainly worth seeing!
