Today's church is a late Gothic building, built in 1510. The builder was the master craftsman Jernej Firtaler from Villach. The influence from Carinthia is particularly visible in the inscription vault, which leans against the inner supports; Decorated with decorative ribbed weaving and is one of the most interesting such weavings in Slovenia.
