Vandring

Sunny panorama path over beautiful mountain meadows with partly alpine character above Wildemann. On the way there are always read on small boards anecdotes in the Upper Harz dialect (with High German translation). Many benches invite you to linger.

Vandring

In times of globalization and the associated dissolution of traditional social structures, regional language variations are on the decline and are only spoken - if at all - by the "oldies". The Wildemanner Mundartweg was set up to counteract this trend a little. During a hike over the Gallenberg you will come across many signs along the way, which are there as in the example shown in the picture. Attempts are made to bring the local dialect closer to the hiker in as humorous a way as possible.

Vandring

A commendable and at the same time amusing idea from Harzklub Wildemann, with which the almost forgotten language of the 16th century miners should be brought back to life. It's fun to read these boards. The Wildemann dialect has its origins in the Saxon Ore Mountains.
