The Easter Church in Hamburg-Bramfeld is located directly on Bramfelder Chaussee near the striking intersection with Steilshooper Allee. It is one of the few central churches in the city of Hamburg.
Despite the similarities to baroque octagonal churches in northwestern Hamburg and southern Holstein such as the Church on the Market in Hamburg-Niendorf or, even more clearly, the Rellingen Church and the Katharinenkirche Großenaspe, the Easter Church is a comparatively young church. She cannot deny these older churches as design models and transfers northern German baroque architecture into the 20th century.

You can't miss it, the Easter Church, which is located directly at the intersection of Steilshooper Allee and Bramfelder Chaussee. The church has stood on this site since 1914, although the surroundings have changed significantly over the years. After the Bramfelders had made the long journey to the church in Bergstedt every week for centuries, it was decided around 1906 to build a church directly on Bramfelder Chaussee near the prominent intersection with Steilshooper Allee. The foundation stone was laid in the summer of 1913 and it was consecrated in 1914.

The neo-baroque church was built in 1913-14 according to plans by Wilhelm Voigt. The tower has a height of 32 m. The church is home to the Evangelical Lutheran parish.
