Vandring
The remains of the monastery complex of St. Charalambos lie spectacularly in the plain against the backdrop of the White Mountains. The little church and the cemetery are still in use, and their tombstones bear witness to the longevity of the Sfakiots. The patronal festival is celebrated on February 10th. The current monastery was founded in 1821, but the sanctuary has ancient roots, as can be seen from the building materials used.
