Cykling

The old town hall of Świnoujście was built in 1806. In addition to the city administration, it also housed the court (including a cellblock), the customs office, the military guard, the shipping commission, and the Świnoujście municipal savings bank. In 1840, the town hall was expanded to include the tower with the clock, which is still visible today. This clock was donated by a wealthy Berliner, Isaak Schönlank, a former merchant from Friedland (now Mirosławiec), who was a successful banker in Berlin. The clock's bell mechanism was replaced ten years ago with an electronic version with loudspeakers.
