In countless hairpin bends, the road winds up to the pass and on the other side just as curvy back down. On the way you can enjoy breathtaking views from almost anywhere.

The Klausen is a great ascent from both directions. However, due to its proximity to Zurich, it is also quite heavily frequented, especially by the motorcycle group. Those who drive early in the morning have peace and quiet and can adequately enjoy the impressive mountain world.
