Vandring

A nice starting point for a tour around Friedrichshöhe or further towards Masserberg or Siegmundsburg. Also a nice rest area with parking space for the car. There is also an interesting organic toilet there.

The International Mountain Hiking Trail of Friendship Eisenach-Budapest (EB-Weg for short) is a long-distance hiking trail that leads through Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
It is 2690 kilometers long.
The starting point of the mountain hiking trail is the Wartburg in Eisenach.
The section from the Hohe Sonne to Neuhaus am Rennweg runs on the Rennsteig.
The trail also leads through the Thuringian Slate Mountains, Vogtland, Ore Mountains, Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, Lusatian Mountains, Jeschken Mountains, Jizera Mountains, Bober-Katzbach Mountains, Kłodzko Sněžné Mountains, Jested Mountains, Beskids, Mala Fatra, Mátra and Bükk to Budapest.
