With the Bonkmolen, the Vlietmolen drained the Lakerveld polder. This mill has enjoyed the interest of the polder board for a very long time, because it was not used until 1986. By then he had already owned SIMAV for 14 years.
After the fire of November 1997, the Vlietmolen was almost completely rebuilt.
