    Domain Bovy is a pearl, grand in its simplicity. In the expansive 34-hectare hiking park, you can fully enjoy nature and indulge your taste buds in an atmospheric bistro or on a sun-drenched terrace. Located within De Wijers, this is an area with a rich cultural history. The history of Domain Bovy goes back to 1134. The Count of Loon then founded the Norbertine abbey in Averbode. Twenty years later, he donated an estate of 27 hectares in Bolderberg to the abbey. The white people built a beautiful square farm there.

Domein Bovy is located in De Wijers, a unique area in Flanders with more than 1000 ponds, together good for about 700 hectares of water and reed. That's 1,400 football fields! It is home to many rare animal and plant species.
