Vandring
On Children's Day of 2004 (June 1), the bronze sculpture "Father and Son" by sculptor Ülo Õun (1944-1988) was unveiled in Tartu in Küüni Street. In the words of Inara Õun, the widow of the sculptor, the father represents Ülo Õun himself and the child was modeled after their son Kristjan when he was 1.5 years old.
The sculpture was created in 1977 and cast in bronze in 1987, originally intended to be erected in Tallinn. The city council Tartu bought the sculpture in autumn 2001.
