Vandring

Dragonflies are among the most beautiful and showy native insects. Because their larvae develop in the water, they prefer to be found near water bodies. The various dragonfly species have different and sometimes very special requirements for the structure, the vegetation and the water quality of their breeding waters. Due to its rarity, the Greater Moosjungfer, which is protected throughout Europe, occupies a prominent position among the various dragonfly species in the North Oer inland dunes.
