Vandring
The Panixerpasshütte is located at an altitude of 2,407 m, directly at the top of the Panixerpass in the Swiss canton of Glarus. It is located in beautiful alpine surroundings with a great view, high above the Vorderrhein valley.
The private Panixerpass hut is owned by the canton of Glarus building department and is not guarded. The self-catering hut is always open and has cooking facilities and 14 places to stay overnight.
Reservations are not possible. The hut can therefore quickly become overcrowded at weekends and during the holiday season. It is not advisable to occupy the hut with groups.
