The local agricultural production cooperative (LPG) had a location here until 1990. After reunification, the Steinitz village youth used the homestead until it was extensively renovated in 2010/11 and restored to its present structural condition.
As a cultural and information center, the Steinitzhof Drebkau is a municipal institution.
A large number of cultural and social events take place here every year.

The three-sided farm was used by the local LPG until the 1990s. Cattle and pigs were kept on the farm until then.
With the development of Steinitz as a tourist destination, the three-sided farm took on a whole new significance.
After its complete renovation, the Steinitzhof was officially opened as a modern cultural and information center on December 15, 2011.
