Chianalea is the old fishing village of Scilla, located north of the Scilleo promontory. The town is characterized by colorful streets and houses just a stone's throw from the sea, as well as fishing boats.
Chianalea is called the little Venice of the south.
The name Chianalea means "galley plain" and refers to the old boats that were used for fishing.
