Vandring

The Schönbuch is the local recreation area in this area. The highest elevation in the park is the Bromberg at 583.6 m above sea level.
The Goldersbach stream is the main artery in the valley of the same name.

Vandring

Roughly speaking, the nature park extends from Herrenberg via Tübingen, Bebenhausen, Schaichhof, Dettenhausen, Weil im Schönbuch, Waldenbuch, Holzgerlingen, Altdorf and Hildrizhausen. Very beautiful forest area with well-developed paths that are used by both hikers and cyclists. On the way there are always places to rest in the form of huts or pavilions, some with barbecue facilities. Most of the paths are suitable for prams and, for example, in the Goldersbachtal near Bebenhausen there is also a playground for children. Other beautiful highlights are e.g. the Bebenhausen monastery or the Birkenweiher

Vandring

The Schönbuch is a wooded ridge south of Stuttgart. It is bordered by Böblingen and Filderstadt in the north, Tübingen and the Neckar in the south, as well as Nürtingen in the east and Herrenberg in the west. Around 200 to 220 km² are attributed to the Schönbuch natural area. 156 km² of this have been designated as Baden-Württemberg's first nature park since 1972. Around 40 km² in the central Schönbuch are fenced and serve as a red deer reserve.
