Botanisk Have ved Batumi – en have på omkring 110 hektar med et væld af subtropiske og eksotiske planter breder sig ud over skråningerne af "The Green Cape"-halvøen, der strækker sig direkte ud fra Sortehavets kyst. Den ligger 9 km nord for Batumi. Den blev grundlagt af den russiske botaniker A. N. Krasnov i 1880'erne og blev officielt åbnet for offentligheden i 1912.

At present, the Red List of Georgia contains 139 animal species and 56 wooded plant species; 275 species of vascular plants are endemic to Georgia. 152 species of Georgian endemic flora (approximately 60% of endemic species) are categorized as endangered.

Collection plot of the roses was formed at Batumi BotanicalGarden in 1959, when importing and reproduction of the new hybrid forms of long-blooming species of roses, adapted to humid-climate conditions, resistant to various parasites and diseases on the basis of active study of bio-morphological and ecological peculiarities of the roses was actively launched.

At any season of the year, the visitors are enabled to see blooming species on the collection plot of the roses, the peak of booming, when the gamma of colours are jointly represented from May until September.
