Its origin is located in the s. XIII, when it was proposed to carry out a construction that would connect the cathedral with the new house of the Dean.
The current arch corresponds to the reform carried out in the fourteenth century.
Legend has it that the Dean requested the construction of the arch to Lucifer, who agreed on the condition that the souls that passed under it would be for him. So be careful!
