Cykling
The Via Augusta was a Roman road that ran along the Mediterranean coast of the peninsula from Gerona to Cádiz. For centuries it has been abandoned (when not asphalted or destroyed to make roads) but since 2011 it has been recovered as a sustainable route for tourist resources.

Cykling
Some sections of the Via Augusta cannot be used with touring bikes because there is too much loose gravel. Here you have to push the wheels. Alternatively, you can switch to the connecting roads.
