    Bua Hed - Nature reserve
    Bohuslän's most well-preserved coastal heath
Near the ferry stop to Malmö, you will find this scenic area with extensive coastal heather heaths and fine swimming beaches.

    Beautiful heath landscape
Bua heath is one of the most well-preserved coastal heaths in Bohuslän. The heath lies on a sand deposit, which means that the vegetation is very sensitive to wear. Heather mixed with crow rice dominates the vegetation, but here and there there are patches of luxuriant grassland. If you hike the Soteleden, it goes partly through Bua Hed.
