The church was built in 1910 on the ground of two previous buildings from the 12th and 17th centuries. The church books say that the early church stood almost in the same place. At the beginning of the 17th century, the structural condition of the early church was so bad that in 1608 a complete reconstruction took place (Wikipedia).

At the beginning of the 17th century, the structural condition of the early church was so bad that it was completely rebuilt in 1608. In the external architectural style it resembled the current church. In 1720 the main portal was renewed and in 1752 a new high altar was installed. In 1895 a new organ was purchased.
