Vandring
In this small hamlet there is and still "resists" a passionate basket maker / basket maker, Mr. "Paolì" = Pauline who carries on this ancient craft with passion.
The existence of the art of weaving is documented by numerous archaeological researches since the Neolithic, and perhaps even earlier.
That of weaving is therefore one of the oldest manual arts practiced by man.
Historically it anticipates the production of ceramics and gives way to the technique of weaving.

It is a profession that reminds us of our past and the fatigue of our ancestors who, every day, made by hand without technological aids, but only with ingenuity and effort, objects for everyday life.
