Playa la Pinta is a beautiful golden sand beach, ideal for families as, sheltered by the breakwaters of Puerto Colón, it has very few waves and the sand is fine and light in colour.

The fine sandy light and dark beach of Playa la Pinta offers a very good bathing opportunity and a beautiful promenade. It is right next to Puerto Cool - the marina. Changing rooms and showers are available for bathing. The rental of sun loungers and umbrellas costs €12 (2 loungers plus umbrella). Many adjacent restaurants, cafes and bars on the promenade, also a popular place in the evening. There are also many shops for shopping here. Access to the sea is flat, hardly any higher waves due to the two stone dykes - ideal for families.

The barrier-free family beach with golden sand is located in a small bay, right next to one of the most important yacht and sports boat harbors on the island - Puerto Colón. That's why the Playa la Pinta beach is often called Playa Puerto Colón. The beach is well sheltered from wind and waves behind the marina pier on the left. The bustling beach is bordered by black rocks on the right-hand side.
