Free guided tours on the site, many "real" Vikings from young to old, who go about their daily work here, archery, ax throwing and an integrated café and restaurant with shop complete the wide range of offers.

Vandring

During the summer months, the residents of Gudvangen live and work as Vikings in the village of Njardarheimr. You can compete in axe throwing and archery, among other things.

A fantastic village, especially against this magnificent mountain backdrop with waterfalls.

The visit was worthwhile despite the constant rain.
