Tesselberg, Montassilone in Italian, is located at 1485 m above sea level.
This town, which is located above Perca, has a magnificent Gothic style church. Only a few families live in this enchanting place which is part of the municipality of Gais. However, there is a beautiful hotel that offers peace, tranquility and magnificent excursions in both summer and winter for those who practice ski mountaineering. Worth remembering is the climb to the splendid mountain hut, the top of the Geige, the climb to the Kor and the Shonbichl or Bel Colle.
