During the Salzburg Festival, current and previous performances are shown on a screen on Kapitelplatz.
Of course, it's not the experience of a ballroom. Some people come and go during the broadcast, on Saturday morning the stage was not completely silently dismantled by "Jedermann" and the glockenspiel rang in the middle of Gustav Mahler's symphony.
