The rest and parking area is almost an insider tip. While most of them are planning their tours coming from below over the Wutach, which is basically not wrong, because the bus connections are better there, but today I took a detour to explore the Gauchach Gorge from the north to the Canadian footbridge.

A nice gimmick by the wayside that you don't even need. After all, in front of it you will find a small, quiet barbecue area and a parking lot that is far less frequented than the one in Bachenheim.
