Vandring

The idyllic Ludwigsklamm gorge lies within a protected landscape area in the Johannistal valley. The gorge is more familiar to locals and therefore considerably quieter than the Drachenschlucht and Landgrafenschlucht gorges. Moss-covered rocks flank the path. A small trail leads down to a cave-like widening of the rock formations with a small waterfall, known as the "Ludwigsgrotte" (Ludwig's Grotto).

This small gorge is an alternative to the Landgrave and Dragon Gorges. It is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. Halfway along the route, a beautiful waterfall awaits curious visitors.
