The Minster fountain was stored for a long time because the square was to be redesigned. Now it's bubbling again.

Nice fountain at Münsterplatz. From here you also have a nice view of the Münster building.

In 1962, the city of Konstanz announced a competition for the design of a fountain on the Münsterplatz, which Franz Gutmann won with his simple fountain shape. Gutmann chose the simple fountain bowl so as not to compete with the towering cathedral. In addition, the horizontal line of the fountain is related to the vertical church facade and acts like a spirit level on the sloping square.
