At the end of the moor tour we got coffee and cake to go here. The train doesn't run due to Corona and the museum is closed, but a rest here is still good

The Upper Swabian Peat Museum Bad Wurzach was opened in 2009. In cooperation with the city of Bad Wurzach, the Nature Conservation Center and the Heimatverein Wurzen, this project was developed, which documents the traces of peat extraction and works up
The museum was set up in the former Zeiler Torfwerk, which was founded in 1880 by the Waldburg-Wurzach home.

Learn interesting facts about the Moor habitat during a trip on the Torfbahn - or hike the unique natural landscape. The peat trail and an extensive network of hiking trails invite you.
