Vandring
The city walls around Sluis have a cultural-historical value and are a beautiful piece of nature for hikers and cyclists.
Fortifications were built as early as the 14th century to protect the then important trading city. The Spanish recaptured the city in 1587, but in 1604 the city was taken by Prince Maurits' troops. Most of the city walls date from this period.
It's a nice walk on the city walls with their canals and gates.
