Vandring
There were two monuments, one with a small cross, and the other with an eagle, recalling a military commemoration or something. The best thing was the place, a wonderful vantage point of the lower valley and the 3 peaks.

Vandring
The Dolomites have been a natural border between Austria and Italy since the Middle Ages. During the First World War, a hotly contested mountain front developed in this region. The natural idyll of the Three Peaks also became a theater of war, where tens of thousands of people lost their lives. The obelisk and the war memorial with the angel were erected to commemorate the many victims.
On the other hand, this is a great photo point to capture the full beauty of the Three Peaks, as well as the breathtaking view of the wonderful valleys.
