Johannes Müller was born on July 14, 1801 in today's old town of Koblenz, not far from Jesuitenplatz. He was attending the Royal Prussian Gymnasium at the time Joseph Görres was teaching there. Müller achieved great importance as a researcher and physiologist.

The Johannes Müller Memorial in Koblenz is a memorial honoring the city-born physician Johannes Müller. It is located in the old town in the center of the Jesuitenplatz in front of the town hall of the city of Koblenz.

After the Jesuitenplatz was redesigned, a memorial was erected in the middle of the square in 1899 to the anatomist and physiologist Johannes Müller (1801-1858). Johannes Müller was born on July 14, 1801 in today's old town of Koblenz, not far from Jesuitenplatz. He attended the Royal Prussian Gymnasium at the same time as Joseph Görres was teaching there.
