From the viewpoint on the Montaña de Arucas you have a beautiful view of the city of Arucas - third largest city of Gran Canaria and home of the Canary Rums. The cathedral of San Juan Bautista, which characterizes the cityscape, and the colorful houses of the old town and the rum factory "Arehucas" can be seen very well from up here.

Vandring

The "Meson de la Montaña de Arucas" is the highest elevation in the area and people have tried to make something more out of this mountain with a view.
In the past, you could almost only see banana plantations from this elevation, but over time the surroundings and the landscape have changed more and more.
Up here, they wanted to offer something for all kinds of tastes with a restaurant.
At least that's what it says on the information board that visitors are offered.

When we were up there, no restaurant was open and we couldn't visit the building either.
