Vandring
The Portal del Agua is one of the historic gates of the wall that protected the Albarracín suburb. Probably built in the 11th century during the Muslim era, it was rebuilt and fortified in the 13th and 14th centuries.
This gate allowed the population to access the path that descended to the Guadalaviar River, hence its name.

Vandring
It is one of the doors that gives access to the defensive area of the walls of Albarracín. It was declared a national monument along with the rest of the set of fortifications. Above the arch there is a small construction intended to be the guardhouse and which today has a balcony to the outside and a gallery with stairs between the walls.
