Cykling

The Portiuncula Church is an octagonal building with a pointed east tower and a western extension. It is located northeast above the old town of Miesbach next to the former monastery, with which it forms a picturesque group of buildings. The unusual octagonal shape is - as one of the first central buildings in the region - a remarkable architectural creation of the early Bavarian Baroque. The interior is structured by wall pillars with round-arched wall sections, above which rises the dome vault, a brick monastery vault with pointed caps.
