Impressive tour of a section of the Roman aqueduct dating back 2000 years. The complete route is 25 km linking the city of Cella with Albarracín. Impressive to think about its construction.
It is a very short walk and without technical difficulty, even the little ones would enjoy it a lot!

The Roman Aqueduct from Albarracín to Cella constitutes an exceptional work of Roman hydraulic engineering in the Iberian Peninsula.
The aqueduct is exceptionally preserved in several sections. The gallery excavated in rock predominates, with side windows called spiramina or lumina. These windows were used both to excavate the interior and to extract rock. In addition, spillways to control flow and channel diversion channels, possibly used for agricultural purposes, have been documented.
