Nivolastro is a small village in the Soana Valley. Although it is now a ghost town, in the past it was inhabited by about twenty families. Despite the state of neglect, the peculiarities of the alpine architecture typical of this area are still clearly visible. It is located a short distance from Ronco Canavese.
