This is probably the best preserved hospital on the alternative route of the Camino Primitivo. It is located at an altitude of 1,190 meters, at the foot of the 1,292-meter Cimero peak. There is evidence that a town existed in the surroundings of this hospital thousands of years ago, in prehistoric times.

Already documented in the XIII century. Various prehistoric elements have been found in the area that document the existence of a town up here for thousands of years. It welcomed pilgrims until barely a century ago. Today it is the hospital that best remains standing on the entire route.
